I am shocked. I have know Carol Anne a lot of years. I also worked with her. We have had long visits and phone conversations. On fact I was talking to her about her book just before Christmas. She was such an inspiration and we all learned so much from her.

Dear Rob, Leslie, Ally, Jason, Robert and siblings.
Please accept our condolences for your loss. The person I knew as you all did I'm sure is at peace. I hope you find comfort in knowing that she left this place in a good state and from what I understand was very content in all the good she was doing for others.
I wish we could be there in this time of sorrow and loss but unfortunately due to several events and restrictions we will not be attending.
Sending our love,
Adam, Catherine and Ryleigh

I found a recent email from Rev. Les, of 'thanks' for the Christmas card I sent. I felt impelled to post the 'closing statement' in this conversation, and hope this brings joy and peace to you all: Rev. Les wrote, "Please know that I AM…..Happy and Content with my life and I am enjoying my volunteer work…. It keeps me occupied and brings me satisfaction knowing that I am helping people who appreciate my efforts. We ALL need to feel valued and I have finally found a family that gives me that. I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year….and thank you for your Christmas card. Peace be with you as well. You are all in my prayers and I am Grateful for the Peace that I have found. Best wishes…..to everyone. Rev. Les".

I pray soulfully that my sibling, Carole Anne (formerly known as Leslie Lonsberry) finds the peace and acceptance that I believe she felt unable to obtain in her life. Helping someone filled her with joy. The suddenness of her passing has been a shock to us all. I send my condolences to my nephews, Robbie and David, and my niece, Alison, and to my surviving siblings and their families: Linda Bull (nee Lonsberry), Merla Tabinski Lonsberry, Glenn Lonsberry and wife, Cindy, Cheryl Farrell (nee Lonsberry) and husband Bill/William, Roger Lonsberry and wife Tammy, and my own family. I would also like to express my condolences to our extended family, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins (who have been most supportive), as well as to Carole Annes' friends, partners (past and present), and to all those to whom Carole Anne was dear. May God rest her soul. [Maureen White, nee Lonsberry, and husband, Norman]
