Absolutely everyone at the Port Hope Garden Club is very saddened about the sudden loss of this lovely, warm, creative member! Jane and her pal Joan Ball were very supportive of club activities, including helping to design our "bridge baskets" over the Ganaraska River and in Lent's Lane for a number of years. She will be missed and our deepest condolences go to Jane's husband and family, and to Joan.

Missing my very dear friend, can not believe that you will not be knocking on the door at anytime, especially to pick up fresh tomatoes, beans etc this summer from our garden. Life around here is not the same without you. Just can’t believe you are gone. I enjoyed our chats in person and on the phone where we were always trying to sort out the world…especially our husbands. We will be sure to be there for Sammy whenever he needs us. Rest sweet girl ❤️

I’m so sorry at the loss of Beautiful Jane. Jane was a loyal client and friend of mine for 20 years. I will miss her monthly visits to get her hair done. We had many laughs and heartfelt conversations throughout the years . Jane was so proud of her children and grandchildren. I felt I knew them from our conversations. Sam, we are so heartbroken in the loss of Jane. You both have been such great friends to Steve and I since we moved to Port Hope, we have had some great times together and singalong’s too. Florida, Ellicottville and not forgetting around the Chimenea and Camp fire’s. I miss her so much and always will. Please know we are always here for you with open doors and arms anytime.
