Born May 9, 1932 in Port Hope, passed away Wednesday April 6, 2022, peacefully, surrounded by his family at Ed’s House Hospice, in his 90th year. Howie was a farmer his whole life and worked many years as a millwright. Loving husband of Barbara (Smith) for 69 years. Father of Dale (Evelyn) of Napanee, Wayne (Carol) of Prince George, Gary (Julie) of Port Hope and John (Tina) of Prince George. Survived by grandchildren Aaron, Dustin, Melissa, Conor, Jeremy, Angela, Mathew, Katie, Nathan and 16 great-grandchildren. Son of the late Dawson and Greta (Simpson). Brother of Enid Sweanor and Floyd Beebe. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Gerald Beebe, brother-in-law Trevor Sweanor, sister-in-law Elizabeth (Betty) Beebe and nephew Scott Beebe. Private arrangements.
