So sorry for your loss. I worked with Frank at Sun Life. He was a great boss. I will never forget his kindness when I went on a trip and had a 2 hour layover in Toronto. He came to the airport and spent time with me, had a tea. He was such a kind man. He will be missed.

Marion I am so sorry that Frank has passed. He the was the best guy ever. He was a rock. He taught me so much about
gardening and of course wine. Many a night, Marion, Frank and I tested out his new batch of wine. Thank god I didn't have
far to go home. He will be missed so much, they don't make them like that anymore.
Please stay in touch Marion.

So sorry to hear of Frank's passing. I worked with Frank in the Toronto Group Branch. For a period of time, Frank and I commuted together and certainly bonded in those long drives. He was a great story teller. There was no doubt that his first love was his family. As I recall, he also loved to chat about his cottage, gardening, maple syrup and his love of the outdoors. He was genuinely a "good guy", one of the best.
My heartfelt condolences to the family.

Debbie and I wanted to send our sympathies to Mrs. Griffin, Dave and Kelly on behalf of our family. The Griffin house became like a second home as we grew up as neighbours on Calais St. I have many happy memories of our families gathering for Grey Cup Parties, street gatherings or just backyard barbecues. Mr Griffin was always smiling, telling a story and making a joke. He will be missed but will always bring a smile to my face as I think back on those happy times.

It is hard to say goodbye to Frank who was such a special friend. So many great memories with Marion and Frank and friends at the cottage and in Myrtle Beach.. His family was # 1 with him then came his gardens, his woodworking and his beloved Sugar Bush. He had friends from every walk in life and was respected by all. His memory will not fade as we share laughs and tears and stories of his life's adventures. To Marion and family my heartfelt sympathy

My parents, Ron and Gwen Sanderson met Frank and Marion in 1964 when they become neighbours in Edmonton, Alberta. They had lots in common and the friendship has spanned these many years. I remember when Frank and Marion would come to visit my parents and the stories that were told and re-told. Fishing stories, practical jokes Frank and Dad played on each other, phone calls at midnight on New Years Eve - despite the two hour time difference after Frank and Marion had moved back to Ontario. These were four people who had so much fun together. I am so sorry to hear this sad news about Frank and send my deepest condolences to you, Marion and to David and Kelly.

Frank was a good, solid guy. I was fortunate to get to help him with his gardens and flower beds, and he was a pleasure to work for. As I write this, I am looking at a polar bear clock that he made in his woodworking shop. His passing was so sudden; it is sort of difficult to come to terms with the fact that he is really gone. Miss you Frank.

Frank was a kind, gentle soul with an infectious smile. He was a talented wood worker and we love our treasures he hand crafted for us. His green thumb yielded many vegetables that he shared with us, and the maple syrup was delicious. We just recently reminisced about our River Cruise we took a few years ago. It was a wonderful time filled with laughter and great fun. Our deepest condolences to Marion and the family. Frank, you will be missed.

Dear Marion, David, Kelly and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Frank's passing. Ron and I shared so many good times with all of you over the span of nearly 60 years. I have memories of dinners and parties in your little townhouse in Edmonton, a very short camping trip to Wabamun with David when he was 3, and hiking up Johnson Canyon near Jasper. We felt very sad when Frank was transferred and you moved to Ontario. But our friendship was so strong that Ron even got on a plane to visit you there. You were great hosts, insisting that we sleep in your bed! And then you toured us around Toronto and Niagara Falls and took us to the cottage. Your visits "out west" were always something we anticipated with pleasure. We had some great times together. I was just speaking recently about our trip to Vancouver Island and digging clams at Parksville. And you and Frank were so supportive when Ron died in 2006 by flying to Edmonton, speaking at the funeral and providing your loving support. Good friends cannot be replaced, but Frank will always be remembered for his quiet humor and sweet soul. My deepest condolences to you all. I wish I could be there to give you a big hug.
With love,
Elizabeth Thomas
