So sorry to hear of the passing of Nancy, such a strong and vibrant leader & nurse. From her days working with Diversicare, I remember Nancy always engaged with everyone around her, smiling and laughing as so many others do. Nancy provided care, mentorship, and commitment to everything she did, with such compassion for others. She was admired for her knowledge, hard work, and so much more. Nancy truly gave to others and improved the quality of life for all those under her wing. My thoughts and sympathy go out to her family who have lost such a special person, Nancy. With deepest condolences, Millie Christie.

We were so sorry to learn the sad news about Nancy. Glenn kept Nancy on her toes when she and Heather babysat him with his claims of being the boss and her stories about those times were priceless. She was always fun to be around and will be missed by so many. We hope that you find comfort in the fact that she is no longer suffering. Love to you all. Glenn & Carolyn Howard

So very sad to hear of Nancy's passing. She will forever be in my heart as a mentor and friend. There was no truer lady, someone that could tell it like it is yet never hurt your feelings. My sons also had the pleasure of knowing her and share my feelings that she was a kind and genuine person with an infectious laugh and witty humor. Remember sharing the odd bottle of wine or two. So much fun to be around and a pleasure to know. Cheers in heaven my friend. My condolences to Brian and family, she was so proud of all of you. You were her everything.

I am so sad to hear of Nancy’s death. I knew Nancy in her days as Director of Care at Altamont. She was splendid - tall and outspoken and you could hear her laughter before you saw her. She was so strong, and full of life. And a great communicator - always with humour. She had a positive energy that everyone was drawn to. The world is a darker place without her. My sincere condolences go to Brian and all of her family. She will be greatly missed.

Nancy was one-of-a-kind. Hearing of her passing was a sad day for me, but a day I spent sharing my memories of lunches, laughter, storytelling and problem solving – all fond memories. On behalf of the Lafontaine family, I want to express our condolences to Brian and extended family, as well as all those who were privileged to have had Nancy in their lives.
