Johnson, Alice Mary (Harris)

Passed away on May 20, 2022 at the Golden Plough Lodge, Cobourg in her 100th year. Alice was the beloved wife of the late Rev. C. Allan Johnson. Dear mother of David Steuart (Sandra). Proud grandmother of Mark, Heather, Sharon and Carol and caring great-grandmother of Holden, Max, Cora, and Violet. Also survived by her many nieces and nephews of the Gores Landing Harris clan, of whom she was so proud. Sister of the late Lewis, George, Eileen, Paul, Lola, Douglas and Ruby Harris, Dorothy Hochbaum and Shirley Frankavitz. Special thanks to Nancy Delgarno for her love and care for her "Aunt A" and to Carmen Harris and Glen Walters for all they did in helping "Aunt Alice" to stay at home as long as she could. A memorial service will be held at St. George's Anglican Church , 8661 Church Hill Road, Gores Landing on Saturday June 4. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00. Face masks are required in the church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northumberland Hospital Foundation or the Victorian Order of Nurses Trenton.
