Passed away at Streamway Villa, Cobourg on Monday October 31, 2022. Julia DeLong was a fan of baseball including the Blue Jays, a member of the U.C.W. and Women’s Institute of Cold Springs, 4 H Leader, participated in the Bethlehem Walk, Julia and Harold also enjoyed square dancing. Beloved wife of Harold Parker. Loving mother of Margaret MacGillivary (Frank Van Iersel), Hazel (Joe Cook), Alan (Linda), Jane (Jeff Searle) and Barry (Kim). Sister of the late Bill Delong, Mary Young, John DeLong, Robert DeLong, Henry Delong, Kerrison Marshall and Laura Parnell. Also survived by 8 grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. The family wish to thank the wonderful and caring staff at Streamway Villa for caring for Julia these last few months. A celebration of life will be held at Cold Springs Hall, 3844 Burnham Street North, Cold Springs, Saturday November 12 from 1 to 4 pm. Private family entombment will take place at the columbarium at Rosemount Memorial Gardens, Peterborough.
