Byers, Charles Frederick Passed away at Golden Plough Lodge, Cobourg on Wednesday, November 5, 2003. Charlie Byers beloved husband of the late Margaret (Peggy) Watt. Dear father of Fred Byers (Margaret), Margaret (David Ashby) and Gloria Moore (Jim). Survived by grandchildren Richard and Cathy Byers, Scott and David Ashby, Todd, Matthew and Christopher Moore and great-grandchildren Christopher Byers, Bram, Brooke, Griffin and Austin Ashby, Peter and Patrick Moore. Brother of the late Mae Ferguson, Ethel Glass, Annie Goheen, George, Harold, Wesley and Frank Byers. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Thursday 7-9 pm. Funeral Service Friday 11 am. Interment, Welcome Church Cemetery. The funeral home is located at the juncture of Ontario St., Young St. and Mill St. N. on the east (left) side of Mill St. N. The parking lot (behind the building) can be accessed either from Young St. or Mill St. N.
