Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Northumberland Hills Hospital on Thursday, February 16, 2023. Edith Elson beloved wife of Fraser Carr. Loving mother of Shawn Carr (Liz), Michael Carr, Michelle King (Michael). Dear grandmother of Devan Horner (Anna), Dane Horner (Manja), Carlee Morais (Carlos), Matthew Carr and Alexandria Carr. Devoted great-grandmother of  Livi, Gemma, Edison, Isla, and William. Sister of the late Cameron, Paul, Jim and Margaret Elson, Kathryn Donevan and Frances Wright. Edith was a founding member of the Survivor Thrivers Dragon Boat Team and a Port Hope Citizen of the year. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope on Monday February 20, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Funeral Service Tuesday 11 am. at Port Hope United Church, 34 South Street.  Interment, Port Hope Union Cemetery.
