Chard, Barbara Ann (nee Gibbs)

August 1, 1942 – March 21, 2023

It is with profound sadness and love that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, in her 81st year, after a short illness, in Peterborough, ON with her family by her side. Barbara Ann was the cherished only child of the late Ross and Evelyn Gibbs and the adored mother of Michael, Mathew, Margot and Mark Chard. She leaves behind her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the lights of her life and she loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family. Although we enjoyed many priceless years with Barbara Ann, we cannot help but feel an emptiness, in our hearts, now that she has left us for a better place and has joined her loved ones that have gone before her.
