Bekkers, Dirk Passed away at Regency Manor Nursing Home, Port Hope on Monday November 24, 2003. Dirk Bekkers beloved husband of the late Marguerite Shanks. Dear father of Bill Bekkers (Pat) of Lake St. Peter, Ted Bekkers (Lynn) of Sault Ste. Marie and Douglas Bekkers of Burlington. Brother of Gonda Jenkins and the late John Bekkers and Bill Bekkers. Also survived by grandchildren Cindy (Greg Watson), Joy (Kevin Schell), Cheryl, Tim, Mike and Corey. Great-grandfather of Brittany Schell. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Thursday from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service at 1 pm.
