Shirley and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have been reflecting on the time that Shirley and Bruce came to Calgary in the RV to visit Dorothy and I, as well as the time we came out to visit on a motorcycle trip from Calgary. Bruce was so proud of his amazing collection of antique vehicles, taking us on little road trips while visiting. My deepest condolences to all of you during this difficult time.

My favourite memory of my step father Bruce is from years ago when he taught me to drive. I learned to drive a standard with him in the passenger seat. As a car guy, he didn’t give many compliments, so when he told me I drove well and had mechanical aptitude I was very proud. He helped me clean up my 67 mustang after that impulsive buy! He could get anything gleaming! He loved my mother with all his heart and soul, and we were grateful for that throughout the years. May he rest in peace.
