Just wanted to send our thoughts and prayers to Ruth’s family. What a wonderful woman she was …. Brightened our day every time we saw her. Pleasant with a great sense of humour - she kept us all on our toes. We will certainly miss that smile …… RIP to a person we would like to call our friend !

I wrote to Ruth after her husband Paul died but didn't hear back from her. Too bad for me! Ruth and your Dad were involved in a play Harvey that I was in, then she was our Youth Corps chaperone and then when the kids came along I was the babysitter on Bloomsgrove. She modernized the CWL much to the chagrin of some! I had so hoped to reconnect, life eh? So after 50 plus years she is already remembered, I'm sure she will be for 'awhile' more ;-)
So very sorry for your loss, your Mom, Grandmother was an amazing lady, she will be missed, but may your memories give you comfort at this difficult time.

My favourite memory of your mom was when she made jello popsicles and let us all have one. LOL They were GOOD, ok, and way better than the popsicles our mom made. She always threw you girls the best birthday parties too :D

You will always be missed Ruth. Your kindness, your thoughtfulness, your great sense of humour and wit. Your passing definitely leaves a void. I had the pleasure of being Ruth’s driver on Rolls. We always had a laugh together. Pre pandemic she invited me to join her and her daughter at her husbands LTC home for Christmas dinner which I thought was so incredibly thoughtful. I went and had a great time! Rest Peacefully Ruth, you will be remembered with a smile!
