Merry Christmas grandad! ❤️ it's hard to believe you're not physically here this Christmas. I know your missed very much. We all miss you, despite all the time that's gone by that we haven't gotten together at family functions...you really have proven that time goes by too fast...and maybe I have been selfish for not taking more time for family....you used to always make sure we understood that family comes first. I'm going to make sure I go visit grandma over the next couple days to make sure she's well I know she misses you deeply and I hope you enjoyed the best turkey dinner with all the fixings and an amazing cup of tea. I saw a girlfriend today and I had a cup of tea with her and told her it was for you. Cheers grandad, until we meet again. Miss you always.
Love always, your granddaughter
Tasha ❤️

My knight and shinning armour is gone!. He was my life since 1958 till his passing. My memories of our life started when he was learning to be a cabinet maker along with his father in a cabinet shop. He found that he needed to support his family so he ventured into construction along with his brother Arthur they worked coast to coast on airports, shopping Malls, and building He also decided to become a dairy farmer because of his love for Jersey cows. He then took his family to Calgary in 1980 after an injury he went back to school to pursue a new career. And become certified in maintenance. Of all of his jobs he enjoyed working at Northumberland Mall the most,He was a people person he love meeting and sharing conversations with everyone. He worked there until his retirement and lung disease. That was devastating. He was cared for at home by his son Timothy his wife Joan son David and Karen. I’d like to also thank the PSWs Doctors and paramedics that were there for him.Id like to thank also Rose and Arthur for their beautiful son a loving and caring son he was a credit to them. We will be having a celebration of life at later time to enjoy our memories and experiences .
You will alway be forever in my heart I love you.
Joan

I was sad to learn of Nelson's passing,
I've known Nelson and the family for many many years, I call them my other family! Diane and I are like sisters. Nelson will be missed, for his kindness, Passion for aminals (chickens) and just being him. My Condolences go out to the family, they will be in my thoughts and prayers!

I can't believe your gone now. It hasn't sunk in fully. It's hard to think at the next family gathering you won't be there. To know your with us in spirit now is the reality it comes down to. I'll miss our talks and of all the times you told me to make good decisions in life. Thank you for being the back bone in our family and stepping up and showing us all what it means to love unconditionally. I know your no longer suffering and you will truly be missed by everyone here at home. I love you grandpa until we meet again

You will be missed but never forgotten I truly will miss the energizer bunny. Someone I look up to with a lot of respect and understanding I’ve learned a lot from you! You welcomed me as a daughter and not a daughter in-law which made to world to me. Your strength to never give up has taught me a lot. I’m glad that now you will be at peace and pain free. Love you Dad
