Scott Williams

January 15, 1966 - December 23, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of Scott Williams announce his passing on December 23, 2023 at Northumberland Hills Hospital after a 9-year battle with ALS.

Scott was an amazing father to his daughters Colleen (Kyle) and Melanie (Devon) and a supportive husband to Martha (Dobos) for over 30 years. He was an adored son of Neville and the late Dianne, and an admired older brother to Cathy Williams. Scott will be missed by his large extended family and numerous friends.

Scott passed on his love of Star Trek, Star Wars, Marvel movies and a love-hate relationship with the Toronto Maple Leafs to his daughters. He loved movies, music, reading and was fondly known as ‘Mr. Blockbuster’.

Scott’s family will always be grateful for the incredible support from extended family, friends, the community and health care staff who cared about and for Scott for many years.

Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Saturday January 13, 2024 from 2 to 4 pm.

If desired, donations can be made to the ALS Society of Canada, Extendicare Cobourg, or the Northumberland New Ventures Band.
