Dear Rick and family,
So sad to hear that Mary Anne has passed.
I first met Mary Anne during the "good old Panther"days.
In later years Mary Anne offered to volunteer in my classroom. Her day was Friday and the children looked forward to Mrs. Smith coming. Mary Anne's organizational skills were the best! She would go through my theme boxes and organize all the crafts and have them ready in no time. As well,she would create things for the children to use with the theme. Nothing was too much for Mary Anne. Many a day, she took stuff home...no doubt she convinced Rick to help!
Mary Anne kept our"Read With Me " program going with new book bags every year for the the Jk's. Too many things for me to name but she sure was apprecitated. The children benefited from all of her help.
In the past few years, Mary Anne and I have had many a conversations and meetings. We have shared the watering duties at the cemetery. Lots of gardening ideas and suggestions have been shared as well. Mary Anne was so creative and with her sewing skills could create anything.
As for Rick, the boys ( as she referred to you), the grand children....Mary Anne/Mom/Grandma was so proud of you and loved you all so much.
Tomorrow...January 1 st is Mary Anne's 75th birthday...her first heavenly birthday. We will be thinking of her.
