Simpson, Maurice Benson ‘Mauri’

Passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Saturday January 6, 2024. Mauri Simpson beloved husband of Elaine Lent. Dear father of Dean (Lynn), Barry, Darren (Rhonda) and the late Craig. Survived by grandchildren Cynthia, Travis, Matthew, Ashley, Josh, Cheryl and his 11 great-grandchildren. Brother of Dorothy Gatien and the late Bev Simpson. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Sunday January 14, 2024 from 1 pm until time of Memorial Service at 2 pm. Reception to follow at the Masonic Lodge, 54 Toronto Road, Port Hope at 3 pm, those who are not attending the service may meet the family directly at the Masonic Lodge. If desired, memorial contributions may be made by cheque to the Port Hope United Church or charity of choice.
