Edward George Gallinger was My Stepfather since the age of 11 when I returned to Canada from Scotland U.K.
My Sister Maxine was 11 months Old I was so very excited to meet her. I arrived on a Friday. All my new family
Came over to meet me. They all came over after work they were all so very loving and so very kind. They all
made me feel special. My Great Aunt Lily whom I lived with in Canada before going back to Scotland.
When I was four. Living with my family especially on a very hot Danforth Ave Eddy would take us to a movie
Usually Sunday Afternoons to get out of the heat. Then suddenly out of the blue we welcomed a new Addition
This was Sean Edward Gallinger our Brother a big surprise he was a good Baby and so was my sister Maxine
Eddy was a hard worker never missed a day off work Shortly after He passed I was walking and talking with him
Praying all his Loved Ones whom had passed before him would be in heaven waiting for him to arrive and he would
Be so happy both sides of the family would be there waiting to welcome him home.

My heartfelt condolences to the family of Ed. I've enjoyed Eddie's company and lots of stories we shared together. I phoned Ed on sometimes, also visited him at his house on Hunter Street just before covid. He made me feel welcomed at that time, also meeting his son that day as well. He was a very talented man, by making really nice bird feeders etc. It was so nice to have him as a bowling teammate. The guys and myself would always kid him by saying ''Ed for captain.'' He would reply by saying ''no, I don't want the job.'' I will miss you Eddie, R.I.P, Steve Terranova.

My sincere condolences to all of Ed’s family. He always took time to stop and chat with Dean and I whenever we ran into him. Lots of great memories from the Men’s bowling league and banquets. Ed was a lovely gentleman and one of my favourite people to get hugs from. Give my Dean a cuddle for me xoxo
