Moore, William Maxwell (Max) Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, January 29, 2004 in his 77th year at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville. Beloved husband and best friend Margaret Eleanor (Brown) of 57 years. Dear father of Ray & Marg Moore (Cobourg), Beverly & the late Matt Crocker (Port Hope), Sandra Lafont (Oshawa), Eric & Linda Moore (Orono), Russell & Cathy Moore (Port Hope), Dianne & Gary Thertell (Kendal), Keith & Terri Moore (Cobourg), and Garnet & Jackie Moore (Orono). Also survived by the best grandchildren ever, Ray Jr., Kim & Al, Bill, Gwen & Rob, Jennifer & Mike, Erin, Kyle, Evan, Catrina, Tiffany, Crystal, Corinne, Brett, Chad, Jeremy & Jessica. Dear great-grandfather of Alexandria, Bailey & Jacob, Zackery & Curtis, Brenda, and Breanna. Lovingly remembered by extended family Jason, Kevin, Cheryl & Eric, Tricia & Jeff, George and families. Dear brother-in-law of Margaret Moore (Cobourg), and Jim & Betty Brown (Port Hope) and predeceased by brothers Allan & Ralph. Friends may call at Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope. Visitation Friday, January 30, 2-4 p.m., and 7-9 p.m. followed by service Saturday, January 31, 11 a.m. at the funeral home. As a dedicated owner and trainer of standard-bred horses he enjoyed countless nights at the races.
