Obituary of Kenneth Swann

Passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital on Wednesday June 12, 2024. Immigrated to Canada in 1971. Born in Acton, England in 1927.Married the love of his life in 1956. Ken and Pat lived in Thornhill before moving to Port Hope in 1994. Ken was the beloved husband to the late Pat Swann. Loving father of Robert Swann (Fran) and Sally (Dr.Lino Durante). Grandfather to Taylor, Adrian (Chantel Darke), Kendra Swann, Lauren, Cailin, Christian and Jason Durante. Great-grandfather to Adley and Cohen Swann. A long time member of the Barbershop Harmony Society, Ken was active in several Ontario chapters prior to settling in Port Hope.  Once in Port hope  Ken became  a member of the (Big Eight) Barbershop singing group, and enjoyed travelling across central east Ontario entertaining audiences at numerous and varied  community events. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope on Wednesday June 19th between 2-4pm for the memorial visitation. If desired, memorial contributions may be made by cheque to a charity of choice.
