Deepest condolences to the Bahr (Barr) family. Erich was uncle to my ex-spouse, and I worked with him at Rutter Granite in Port Hope. He used to sand blast memories on tombstones and granite memorials, and took great pride in his work. We had some very interesting conversations about his youth in Germany - a wonderful man, with some incredible stories to tell. RIP Erich!

Erich was a good neighbour and friend to the birds. He always had a kind word, smile and chuckle to share over the back fence. Having his family close was important to him and he loved having the grandkids and great-grandkids beat a part between the houses. A life well lived.
So sorry to hear of Erich’s passing. I watched every morning out of my kitchen window as he waited for his son to pick him up and drive him to the waterfront trail for his daily walk. I will miss him. Condolences to the family. Andrea Wigmore Patterson
