In Loving Memory of Sylvia Cappler

September 30, 1941 – October 2, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvia Ann Cappler on October 2^nd, 2024. Sylvia was a remarkable individual, known for her light heart, intelligence, quick wit, and unwavering love for those around her.  

Her sense of humor and infectious laughter brightened the lives of everyone she met. Sylvia was not only smart but also incredibly kind, always offering her wisdom and love generously. To know her was to experience the joy she carried with her in every moment.

She was predeceased by her loving parents Roy Edward Cappler and Mary Hope Cappler, whom she cherished deeply. Their memory remained a guiding light in her life, and she carried their love with her always.

She was a loving daughter, friend, and community member and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to call her a friend. Sylvia brought warmth and light wherever she went, and her presence will be sorely missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Port Hope Public Library, honoring her loving and giving nature.

Sylvia will be cremated, and at her request there will be no service.
