Dan was our neighbour in Whitby. He was a very kind and generous man!! He will be greatly missed! Sending our deepest condolences and prayers to Kathy and family.

Dan was such a nice man - I always enjoyed our chats in the kitchen, both of us working away cheerfully. I am sad to learn I won't see him again and will cherish the laughs we had over hot chocolate and smores.
We are saddened with the loss of Gentle Man. Dan was always ready to offer his help with a smile and patience. He was a calming influence and always kind. We will miss him.

When I first met Greg's parents, the nerves lasted a whole 5 minutes. In those short moments I realized that they were the exact reasons I fell head over heels for their son.

Dan was the quintessential gentleman, soft spoken, kind, helpful and with a quiet sense of humour. Seldom seen without a smile and always ready to help, every moment spent in his presence was a moment well spent. His kind are rare in this world, and his loss profound. I miss you, Dan.
