Charlotte was the very first teacher I worked with. I was put in her classroom at PHHS for my final placement. I was hired by the board after that. I couldn't have asked for a better mentor. She was always so kind and generous. I saw her a few months ago and she still gave the best hug. My sincere condolences to Sam and family.
Rest in Peace friend.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Charlotte's passing. We first met at PHHS, where I worked as a secretary and she was a teacher. Her passion and dedication to her students were truly inspirational. I was so grateful to reconnect with Charlotte through RTO and to see that her passion and inspiration continued to ignite those around her. My deepest condolences to Sam and family.

To the Majic's,
You all welcomed me into your life in 1996 as a new friend and later best friend to Liz! I will always remember the first time I came for dinner and Charlotte served me Tofu! She quickly saw my reaction (meat and potato kinda gal!) and insisted I 'Just mix it in with your potatoes!', so I did reluctantly. She never served me tofu again. lol From sleepovers to dance parties in her living room to later in life reconnecting and visiting the Majic household for family milestones, I always truly appreciated her warm smile and banter.
Sending love to Sam, Samantha, Chuck, and Liz!!! Rest in peace Charlotte xo
Love, 'Big Guy' xo

Sam and family,
I was so very upset when I heard the news of Charlotte's passing on Sunday.
She was an amazing and wonderful woman who I admired greatly.
Her concerns for the well being of others was a passion in her life.
She cared deeply about good health care for seniors and worked tirelessly to help to eliminate social isolation for those who lived alone.
Charlotte recruited me 11 years ago this fall onto the RTO/ERO District 30 executive committee and always was so supportive of me in my goodwill role with unlimited praise.
She was such a very positive, industrious and enthusiastic friend and leader who I will miss so very much.

I was saddened to hear of Charlotte’s passing. Though I haven’t seen her since I was a child, I have fond memories of visiting the Majic family’s home and playing with Samantha, Charles, and Elizabeth. Sam and Charlotte were dear friends of my parents Bob and Catherine Robertson, and even as a child, I could sense what lovely people they were.
There’s a saying: “People may forget what you said, but they’ll never forget how you made them feel.” When I think of Charlotte, a smile comes to my face. She had a warmth and kindness that left a lasting impression, even on a child.
I have no doubt that her love and goodness will live on in the beautiful family she and Sam created.
Rest in peace, Charlotte

Dear Sam and family,
I am in deep shock to hear of this sad news. I was so happy to see you both at mom’s celebration of life and it felt as if no time had passed. I will be forever grateful for the memories that we shared together in Port Hope back in the day on Bloomsgrove and also during Cursillio times. Precious times. We can take solstice knowing that Charlotte is enjoying a singsong with mom and perhaps a glass of wine.
Thank you for this beautiful tribute to her wonderful life. I’m so so sorry. Please extend my condolences to your entire family.
Love, Cathy Polson-Toner

Charlotte was my grandmother and I loved her very much. I remember that when I went to her house, we would sometimes play monopoly and start arguing. We argued sometimes but we had many great times. She used to take me for walks after we had dinner and she liked to look in peoples windows. She had great energy and life will not be the same without her.
