Dear Shelley, Terry, Stephen, Rochelle, and Family,
My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time. It's never easy to find the right words when we lose someone so dear to us.
I’ve known Kenny for over 70 years, and I still vividly remember the day Uncle Herbie drove the blue Ford convertible for your Mom and Dad's wedding. I was only four, but that moment is etched in my memory.
We shared so many wonderful times together. Shelley, I fondly remember when you, your Mom, your Dad, and Stephen would come to our place in Pointe au Chene, for Christmas Eve. Uncle Herbie and Aunt Edna always cherished your company, and we were so close growing up. I have many good memories of the time spent with your Dad—he was always kind and thoughtful with me.
Your Dad had a good, long life, and while I know he missed your Mom, I take comfort in knowing they are together now.
As we grieve your Dad's passing, let us hold tight to the precious memories of his warmth, hospitality, and the joy he brought into our lives. His presence will be greatly missed, but his spirit will live on in the moments we shared.
Though your Dad may no longer be with us, his spirit will live on in our hearts, through the memories we shared, the love he gave, and the moments yet to come when we raise a glass to him.
May he rest in peace, and may we always cherish the memories we shared.
