I want to offer the Stewart family deepest condolences. Terrible and shocking news of his sudden passing. I played hockey with Fred in Cobourg for 15 years. Such a wonderful person! May your happy memories together bring you comfort.

How heartbreaking to hear this tragic news. Fred was a high school friend with a delightful sense of humour, never a dull moment with you Fred. Rest easy my friend.

Sorry for your great loss from the Shannon Brothers who tortured Fred in his youth but loved him like he was one of us. Slate

My most sincere condolences to the Stewart family. I had the pleasure of playing hockey with Fred, he always made it a great time either if we were on the same team or not.

Suzanne, Stewart, Jones and Savage Families,
Our heartfelt condolences on the sudden passing of the funniest man we know.
Fred was so funny and always smiling and friendly to us.
We are still in shock.
Oh, I wish I had known about the shenanigans with the Squirrels, I would have been right there with Fred!
During the Tornado a few years ago, I was trying to keep the Tiki Bar and bar stools from flying into Crowe Lake as Fred and Suzanne were not home.
Then, out of nowhere comes Fred with a big rope and we tied everything down.
I looked up and saw the huge trees swaying left and right and said to Fred this is not the best place to be right now! We laughed! We saved the Tiki Bar and stools!
I know that wonderful memories, endless stories, photos and videos will give you all strength today and always when you need it.
I am sure Fred has got everyone cracking up in Heaven.
Fred, we will miss honking and waving to you on your walks to and from Town.
Suzanne, when you find a Dime it means Fred is watching over you.
Sincerely,
John and Mary Clarke
