Obituary of Linda Faye Elliott

Linda Elliott peacefully passed away on December 25th, 2024, surrounded by family. Predeceased by her loving husband of 35 years, Elmer. Beloved mother of Becki (Bill), Jason (Jennifer) and Chris (Mackenzie). Stepmother of Lisa (Mark), Todd and Kim. Cherished Grandma/Nana of Devon, Austin, Nick, Ryan, Alex, Tori, RJ, Kody, Gracy and Josh. Great Grandma to Jaxson, Angelica and Hazelynne.

Linda lived her life to the fullest. An RNA for her entire career, she worked in several hospitals throughout Southern Ontario, finally putting down roots for herself and her kids in Port Hope. Her healing nature and beautiful heart made her one of the best in her field, and she made many lifelong friends out of her co-workers. After retiring from nursing, she decided to remain in the Healthcare field, working as a Personal Support Worker until she could work no more.

In Port Hope, she met Elmer and after a beautiful courtship, the 2 merged their families, marrying in 1987. For 35 years, they enjoyed life to the fullest. Joining a bowling league, playing cards, travelling. She left no stone unturned, and made many friends everywhere she went. Linda will be fondly remembered by many friends and family.

A visitation for Linda will take place on Friday, January 3rd, 2025, at 10am, at Allison Funeral Home (103 Mill Street North, Port Hope) until the time of the service at 12pm noon. Interment will then take place at Port Hope Union Cemetery (114 Toronto Road, Port Hope), followed by a reception at Allison Funeral Home.
