So sorry to hear about Dorothy’s passing. She was a lovely, very dignified lady in every sense of the word. Working for Owen and Dorothy back in the Lent Travel days gave me the best times and fondest memories of my life. I know the passing of your mom and dad has left a huge hole in all your hearts but may your memories sustain you all.

We were very fortunate to have Dorothy and Owen as neighbours for several years. Dorothy was a beautiful kind Lady. Our Jane would run to get a hug from Dorothy when she was gardening and always came back with a little flower. She also bought our kids Advent Calendars at Christmas every year. Rob and I enjoyed a few "Attitude adjustment hour" with Owen and Dorothy over the years lol. To all of the Lent family, we are truly sorry for your loss and hope all the wonderful memories you have will help guide you through this difficult time.
Leslie, Rob, Jane and Clayton Dukes.

Our deepest condolences to all of the Lent Family, during this especially difficult and sad time. Dorothy was an incredibly kind lady, who was a positive light to all who were lucky enough to be in her presence. Always classy, full of smiles and so welcoming. She was so very special. I have many fond memories of time spent with Dorothy and Owen at their home when I was growing up and truly cherish those times. When pulling out my recipe box, my thoughts will continue to go to Dorothy, as the recipe will be in my Nanna Low’s writing, and list Dorothy Lent’s name with really good beside it. Always makes me smile. Sending lots of love, hugs and prayers to each of you. ❤️.
Love Kerri and Mike Miller

Dear Lent Family
As you well know Owen and Dorothy were an integral art of the fabric of Port Hope for many years. They served the community in such varied ways and were much appreciated.I remember walking past the window of the store at Lent Lane and getting a good chuckle out of the Please Go Away sign.
I recall Dorothy in many town events and at the Church on Sundays with her bright smile and kind greetings.
They are both dearly missed and fondly remembered by al who knew them
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
