Stewart was one of the most genuine and kind individuals I have ever met. I had the pleasure of visiting him many times with his granddaughter, Sierra. Sierra looked up to him very much and always shared his incredible stories. His caring and compassionate soul was infectious and I always left his home feeling happy and energized. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Stewart was a devoted, unique and generous father-in-law. From his love of family, to the many charities he donated to, but my personal favourite is the open garage policy. All are welcome (friends, neighbours and strangers). Let me get you a chair, and what would you like to drink? You will chat, laugh and then be asked "what do you think about this?" After analyzing, tweaking and lots of research, the end result... "Good job Matt!" That's a family running joke. I will greatly miss that.

The time before was also a blessing as it was 1978 and myself, my Brother Mike, R.I.P., Were with you and Russ out fishing on Trickett Lake.

He was an honorable man and loved his family very much, he will join his beloved wife Aunt Judy, and we will miss him very much he took time to make the trip north to Cochrane and for the past several years I would join him in going to Cochrane to tend to the family plots, he would always keep make sure that the Howe plots were tended to as well, later we went to lunch for chinese food 1 of his fave's, and getting back to my place he said he had to check in with Sandy and Russ as they wanted to be in the know at all times, he chuckled at that, said it was almost like being a kid again. Gary and I offer condolences to Sandy and Russ and the rest of the family.
