Obituary of Marion Mary Ellen Barker

Barker, Marion M. E. Suddenly at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Friday September 24, 2004. Marion Hayden was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Thurtle and of the late Leo Barker. Predeceased by her sister Ruth McDonald and her brother Sherwood Hayden. Marion is survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends around the world. Special friend of Muriel and John Bell. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Friday October 8, 2004 from 7-9 pm and Saturday October 9, 2004 from 10 am until time of Funeral Service at 11 am. Interment, Port Hope Union Cemetery. The funeral home is located at the juncture of Ontario St., Young St. and Mill St. N. on the east (left) side of Mill St. N. The parking lot (behind the building) can be accessed either from Young St. or Mill St. N.

Port Hope Union Cemetery Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 2, Toronto Rd. (exit 461). Follow Toronto Rd. south into Port Hope. The cemetery is located just past Jocelyn St./Marsh Rd. on the west (right) side of the road.

Follow Toronto Rd. south into Port Hope to Ridout St. Turn left on Ridout St. Follow Ridout St. east (it becomes Walton St.) The church is located just west of the business section of town on the south (right) side of the street. FROM HWY 401 westbound Exit at County Rd. 28, Ontario St. (exit 464). Follow County Rd. 28 south into Port Hope. At the "Y" veer to the left and contine south to Walton St. Turn right on Walton St. Follow Walton St. west through the business section of the town. The church is located on the south (left) side of the street.
