Denis, Maurice Rene Passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Saturday September 25, 2004. Maurice Denis will be greatly missed by his beloved wife and best friend for 54 years Ella Dore. Loved dearly by his children Edward Denis (Bev), Linda (Bob Miller), Marlene (Peter Hamilton), Gary Denis (Shelly), Gabe Denis (Darlene), Doreen (Jim Mitchell), Colleen (Barry Pullin), Cathy McLaren, Debbie Denis and the late Carol. Deeply loved by 20 grandchildren and will be also missed by 16 great-grandchildren. Loving son of the late Adelard Denis and Euginie Portlance and step-son of Reina Plante. Brother of Alice Belkin of Barrie, Laurette Chenier, Robert, Louise, Estelle, Ernest, Germain and Jeanne all of Cornwall. Predeceased by Irene Faetz, Clara Denis and Edgar Denis. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass Tuesday 11 am at the Church of Our Lady of Mercy.
