McGillis, Janet Marie October 1, 1928 ? May 24, 2005. Passed away peacefully in Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Tuesday May 24, 2005. Will be deeply missed by her three brothers Joe (Maureen) of Edmonton, Peter (Patricia) of Woodstock and Allan (Curene) of Port Hope. Also by her sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, cousins and a multitude of close friends. Janet?s enthusiasm, strength of character and spirit of adventure endeared her to all. She was predeceased by he parents, Donald and Marie McGillis of Port Hope. Special thanks to volunteer drivers, Dr. Simon and the nursing staff on 2A. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Thursday 7-9 pm with parish prayers and 8 pm. Funeral Mass Friday 11 am in the chapel at Trenton Air Force Base. Interment, Saturday 10 am at St. Mary?s Cemetery, Port Hope.
