Jones, Ruth Helen Passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Thursday January 5, 2006. Ruth Van Leer in her 90th year, beloved wife of The Rev. Everard Keith Jones. Ruth and Keith Jones served as Christian Missionaries in India, Pakistan and Iran between 1942 and 1979, with the Ceylon & India General Mission (CIGM), later named the International Christian Fellowship and subsequently merged with the Sudan Interior Mission. They also served with the Anglican Church in Iran. Loving mother of Rodney Jones (Dawn), Phillip Jones (Leanne), Allen Jones (Beverly), Richard Jones (Jill) and Ruth Ann (David Douglas). Sister of Clyde Bartges, Mildred Lake and the late Edward Van Leer and Betty Cockrell. Also survived by grandchildren, Alexander, Gregory, Christopher, Colin, Andrew, Keith, Heather, Jonathan, Nathan and Laura. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Sunday 7-9 pm. Funeral Service Monday 11 am at St. John?s Anglican Church, Pine Street North, Port Hope.
