Bate, Frances Elizabeth ?Betty? Passed away peacefully at the Port Hope Community Nursing Home on January 13, 2006. In her 86th year. Betty Clarke beloved wife of the late Murray Bate. Dear mother of Gregory Randolph Clarke and his wife Patricia. Loving grandmother of Laura-Leigh, Andrea, Kerry and great grandson Braden all of Saskatchewan. Betty is survived by her brother Gregory Clarke, sisters Kay Coling and Shirley-ann Dhaene. Betty will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews especially her niece Kathy McBride and family. Special thank you to Scott and Kevin Allison of Allison Funeral Home, the staff of the third floor of the Port Hope Community Nursing Home for their care and devotion to Aunt Betty, and Father Randy for his comforting words. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Tuesday 10 am until time of Funeral Service at 11 am. Interment, Port Hope Union Cemetery. Visitation

Tuesday 10 am until time of Funeral Service at 11 am. Allison Funeral Home Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 28, Ontario St. (exit 464). Follow Ontario St. south into Port Hope. The funeral home is located at the juncture of Ontario St., Young St. and Mill St. N. on the east (left) side of Mill St. N. The parking lot (behind the building) can be accessed either from Young St. or Mill St. N.
