Obituary of Harold Lloyd

Lloyd, Harold Harding Passed away peacefully Tuesday April 18, 2006 at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg, after a lengthy battle with an illness that he faced with the same dignity and grace as he lived his life. Harold lived his entire life in Port Hope, he was the son of the late Lillian Harding and Alfred Lloyd. Before being deployed overseas with the Royal Canadian Signal Corps Nov. 1942, he married his much loved and loving wife, the late Reta McBride. Predeceased by his brother Fred, he is survived by his brother Ken of Ottawa. Harold was a special Grandpa to Dennis and Tessy George and his loss is mourned by the George family, several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Friday 10 am until time of Funeral Service at 11 am. Sandra Bell-Buttars Officiating Celebrant.
