Beedham, John Passed away suddenly at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Sunday July 20, 2014. John was an active member in many branches of the Masonic Orders including P.D.D.G.M. of Ontario District and a 33 degree Member in the Scottish Rite. John had a real love of his gardens, music and had a kind heart for everyone he met, he retired from GM after 32.9 years' service. Beloved husband of Dorothy MacMillan. Loving father of Gary Beedham (Sandi), Richard Beedham (Sandy), Kathy (Richard Lackey) and Dr. Matthew Beedham (Samantha). Also survived by his grandchildren Brittany (Steve), Tyler (Meghan), Josh (Natalia), Madison, Ricky, Noah, John and Laura. Brother of Mildred McIvor, Audrey Lewis and the late Phyllis Curtis. Brother-in-law of Leona Jackson and Lloyd Curtis. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Tuesday 7-9, Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral home is located at the juncture of Ontario St., Young St. and Mill St. N. on the east (left) side of Mill St. N. The parking lot (behind the building) can be accessed either from Young St. or Mill St. N.
