Obituary of Valeda Marion Kent

Kent, Valeda Marion (nee Minifie) Passed away suddenly on Monday April 16, 2007 in her 86th year at the Tower Retirement Residence in Port Hope. Valeda was predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, Donald Kent and by her sister, Hilda Lang, and her brother, Harold Minifie. She will be missed by her sister-in-law, Margaret Minifie, and by her nieces, Marjorie Cameron, Jean MacDonald and Janice LeClair and also by her cousins Londa Robinson and Robert Turner. She will be fondly remembered by friends and former neighbours. Valeda is resting at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, with visitation to be held on Thursday from 7-9 pm and a Funeral Service on Friday at 2 pm. Interment, St. Paul?s Cemetery, Cold Springs. The funeral home is located at the juncture of Ontario St., Young St. and Mill St. N. on the east (left) side of Mill St. N. The parking lot (behind the building) can be accessed either from Young St. or Mill St. N.

St. Paul's Cemetery Cold Springs ON DIRECTIONS: FROM COBOURG Follow County Rd. 18, Burnham St. north through the village of Camborne to the village of Cold Springs. The cemetery is located at St. Paul's United Church on the east (right) side of the road.
