Cook, Viola Jean Passed away at hospital in Peterborough on Saturday February 23, 2008. Jean Challice beloved wife of Leavern (Ben) Cook. Loving mother of Joan Gilmour, Sandra Hall (Jim Copan) and Sherri (Jerry Hale). Sister of Opal Nelson, John Challice (Peggy) the late Helen Corfe and Henry Challice. Survived by grandchildren Paul Gilmour (Joanne Chadwick), Nancy (Bob Wigmore), David and Krystle Hall and great-grandchildren Abigail Gilmour, Christopher and Carman Wigmore. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope on Wednesday March 5, 2008 from 1 pm until time of Funeral Service at 3 pm. The funeral home is located at the juncture of Ontario St., Young St. and Mill St. N. on the east (left) side of Mill St. N.
