Cook, Leavern Edward (Ben) Passed away at Community Nursing Home, Port Hope on Sunday July 6, 2008. Ben Cook beloved husband of the late Jean Challice. Loving father of Joan Gilmour, Sandra Hall (Jim Copan) and Sherri (Jerry Hale). Brother of Evelyn Reynolds and the late Hazel Franklin, Edna MacGillivary, Ivy Rowe, Betty Rylance, Gladys Cockey, Orville, Norman, Arthur and Ross Cook. Survived by grandchildren Paul Gilmour (Joanne Chadwick), Nancy (Bob Wigmore), David and Krystle Hall and great-grandchildren Abigail Gilmour, Christopher and Carman Wigmore. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope on Thursday July 10, 2008 from 9 am until time of Funeral Service at 11 am.
