Obituary of Gerrit Jan Zweerink

Zweerink, Gerrit Jan Passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Thursday October 23, 2008. Gerrit Zweerink in his 93rd year, beloved husband of the late Wilhelmina Rutgers. Loving father of Ben Zweerink (Dianne), Johanna Grasmeyer (Henk), John Zweerink (Wendy) and George Zweerink (Elsie). Dear grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Private Family Funeral Service was held at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Saturday 11 am. Interment at Port Hope Union Cemetery. The funeral home is located at the juncture of Ontario St., Young St. and Mill St. N. on the east (left) side of Mill St. N. The parking lot (behind the building) can be accessed either from Young St. or Mill St. N.

Port Hope Union Cemetery Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 2, Toronto Rd. (exit 461). Follow Toronto Rd. south into Port Hope. The cemetery is located just past Jocelyn St./Marsh Rd. on the west (right) side of the road.
