Battersby, Kermit Sifton Passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Monday December 29, 2008. Kermit beloved husband of Mary Sheppard. Dear father of Rick Battersby (Darlene) and Karen Harris (Stan Lewis). Loving grandfather of Tara, David, Christopher, Mindy, Shana, Christopher, Michelle and 9 great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Verta Bickle. Will be fondly remembered and missed by the children and grandchildren of Mary Sheppard. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope on Thursday 7-9 pm. and Friday from 1 pm until time of Memorial Funeral Service at 2 pm. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope on Thursday 7-9 pm. and Friday from 1 pm until time of Memorial Funeral Service at 2 pm. Allison Funeral Home Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 28, Ontario St. (exit 464). Follow Ontario St. south into Port Hope. The funeral home is located at the juncture of Ontario St., Young St. and Mill St. N. on the east (left) side of Mill St. N. The parking lot (behind the building) can be accessed either from Young St. or Mill St. N.

Welcome Church Cemetery Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 2, Toronto Rd. (exit 461). Follow County Rd. 2 south. The cemetery is located almost immediately south of the 401 on the west (right) side of the road.
