Obituary of Percy Alfred Fishlock

Fishlock, Percy Alfred Passed away at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Saturday January 10, 2009. Percy beloved husband of Shirley. Dear father of Robert (Urszula), Lawrence and Janet Fishlock (Philip). Loving grandfather of Evan, Julia, Travis and Ethan Fishlock. Brother of Len and the late Donald and Ernest Fishlock. Percy was born in London, England in 1925 and emigrated with Shirley to Port Hope, Ontario in 1953. He was a WW II veteran, serving in the British Navy, including at D Day; long time employee and Treasurer of B. Elliott Machine Tools in the U.K, Port Hope and Toronto; past president of the Port Hope Kiwanis Club (1964); long time and enthusiastic member of the Port Hope and Dalewood Golf & Country clubs; and frequent volunteer. Friends will be received at St. John?s Anglican Church, 34 Pine Street North, Port Hope, on Saturday, January 17, 2009, from 2 pm until time of Memorial Funeral Service at 2:30 pm. Friends will be received at St. John?s Anglican Church, 34 Pine Street North, Port Hope, on Saturday, January 17, 2009, from 2 pm until time of Memorial Funeral Service at 2:30 pm. St. John's Anglican Church Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 eastbound Exit at County Rd. 2, Toronto Rd. (exit 461). Follow Toronto Rd. south into Port Hope to Ridout St. Turn left at Ridout St. Follow Ridout St. east (it becomes Walton St.) to Pine St. Turn left on Pine St. Follow Pine St. north. The church is located a short distance along on the east (right) side of the street at the corner of South St. FROM HWY 401 westbound Exit at County Rd. 28, Ontario St. (exit 464). Follow Ontario St. south into Port Hope. At the "Y" veer to the left and continue south to Walton St. Turn right on Walton St. Follow Walton St. west through the business section to Pine St. Turn right on Pine St. Follow Pine St. north. The church is located a short distance along on the east (right) side of Pine St. at South St.
