Sagebiel, Frank Ernst; October 17, 1941- February 24, 2010 Passed away at home as was his wish, with his wife Margarete, his dogs Jupiter and Ella and his cat Lily at his side. Loving father of daughters Nina and Vera. Brother of Marion Kochman and brother-in-law and friend of Manfred Kochman and Dixi (Carl Dieter) Krautwig. Having attained success in the corporate sector Frank happily transitioned to private business. Similarly he transformed from a city slicker to embracing life in the country, learning many new skills and developing new interests and hobbies. Frank was a gentleman who enjoyed people, espresso, good music, well polished shoes and riding and caring for his horses Breezy, Buddy, Luke and Max. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope on Thursday, March 11 from 10 am until the Memorial Service at 11 am. Interment follows at Port Hope Union Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Northumberland Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
