Obituary of David Elwood Denny

Denny, David Elwood ? 1937-2010 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of David in his 73rd year, on Sunday May 16, 2010 at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg. Beloved husband of Margaret (Palmateer) of 55 years. Loving father of Louise (Bob Ruddy) of Markham and Elizabeth Denny (Craig Dempsey) of Penetanguishene. He will be sadly missed by grandchildren Makenna and Tayler Ruddy, Adam and Shae Contois his sister Jean Denny of Cobourg his aunt Hazel Armstrong of Brighton, his sister-in-law Anne Tripp of Barrie and his dear friend Jeff Contois. He will be fondly remembered by nephew Howard Tripp nieces Joan Tripp, Julie (Gary Lamb) and Glynnis (James Dejong) and many great-nieces and nephews and dear friends. He will be remembered especially by special cousin Alan Crawley of Vulcan, Alberta. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Eva (Crawley) Denny. David was a retiree of Weetabix (Canada) Cobourg. David?s great love was spending time at his cottage on Lake Kawagama, Dorset and at his hunting camps on Freeze Lake, Haliburton and Devil 4 Mile Road, Havelock. Graveside Funeral Service, 1 pm Friday June 4th at Camborne Cemetery followed by a reception at Cobourg Lions Centre. Donations in David?s memory may be made to Camborne United Church, NHHF ?
