Obituary of Melville Leo Cann

Cann, Melville Leo Passed away at Community Nursing Home, Port Hope on Tuesday May 17, 2011. Leo Cann beloved husband of the late Jean Rutherford. Dear father of Larry Cann (Sue), Judy (Fred Fama), Ray Cann and the late Ron and Rick Cann and Janice Sanders. Remembered by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, father-in-law of the late Debbie Cann and Bryan Sanders. Brother of Grace Knott and the late Marguerite Kelly, Fred and Jack Cann. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Thursday 7-9 pm and Friday from 10 am until Memorial Service at 11 am. Interment, Bailieboro Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Thursday 7-9 pm and Friday from 10 am until Memorial Service at 11 am. Allison Funeral Home Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 28, Ontario St. (exit 464). Follow Ontario St. south into Port Hope. The funeral home is located at the juncture of Ontario St., Young St. and Mill St. N. on the east (left) side of Mill St. N. The parking lot (behind the building) can be accessed either from Young St. or Mill St. N.

At Welcome, continue north on County Rd. 10 through the village of Canton to 4th line. Turn right on 4th line. Follow 4th line east to the church. The church is located a short distance along on the north (left) side of the road.
