Hussey, John Francis Born on April 6, 1928 died peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Wednesday August 10, 2011 in his 84th year with his daughters by his side. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Hussey (nee Fry), loving father of Wayne, Wendy, Wanda and Eric, foster father to Peter, Brian, Patrick, Patrick, Pat, Glenna, Margaret and Nancy, father-in-law to Cathy, Darrell, John, Karen and Kevin, grandfather to Jon (Carolyn), Shaun (Veronique), Corey, Laura, Sarah, Michelle and Jessica, great-grandfather to Liam, Jonah and Nicholas. Brother to Kay, pre-deceased by sister Helen and brother Patrick. Brother-in-law to Norma, Beverly and Dan. Active member of his local Legion and Bewdley Seniors Group. He will be missed by family, friends and companion and long-time friend Yvonne Deveaux. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Saturday from noon until time of Funeral Service at 2 pm. Friends will be received at the Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope, Saturday from noon until time of Funeral Service at 2 pm. Allison Funeral Home Port Hope ON DIRECTIONS: FROM HWY 401 Exit at County Rd. 28, Ontario St. (exit 464). Follow Ontario St. south into Port Hope. The funeral home is located at the juncture of Ontario St., Young St. and Mill St. N. on the east (left) side of Mill St. N. The parking lot (behind the building) can be accessed either from Young St. or Mill St. N.
