Batten, Benjamin Gilbert July 1, 1922 - December 14, 2011 Passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Born and raised at Conception Bay, NL, served in WWII with the Royal Navy for five years on the Warspite, Queen and Resolution. Married his wife Lillian in Scotland then returned home only to relocate to Ontario where he worked for 36 years at Alcan in Toronto. Predeceased by his wife his daughter Holly and son Darrell.
