So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I just looked her up today as my mother (Joan Leydon) died June 24, 2020 and wondered how to let Mona know. They were great childhood friends and kept touch over the ensuing years until maybe two years ago when Mom found telephone conversations difficult. I hope they are having a marvelous time together in the great beyond!! ❤️❤️

I'm so sorry you lost your mother, especially at this time of year. She was a joy to be around. We had so much fun when she and Fred were here in London. When they lived in Southampton and were still in the TNT's they used to stay at my place when they came for rehearsals and the weather wasn't good. I worked out of town a lot so they had their own keys and would just move in. Sometimes if the weather was bad I'd come home on a Friday night and they'd still be there with dinner! Heaven is having a party now that all the Murphy girls are reunited.

Warm heartfelt condolences to all near and dear to Mona.
I had the privilege to be Mona's registered massage therapist.
My monthly appointment's with Mona were such a joy and a highlight of my month, I will truly miss her.
I believe she enjoyed our time together and I will always remember when Mona was at the height of relaxation she would let out a big sigh and say, "Peel me a grape". I loved her sense of humour and her self expression.
It was so apparent to me as I had a glimpse of her surroundings that she so loved her family and she treasured all her memories as I believe we will all treasure the memories we have of Sweet Mona.
Love to all,
Janice Snider

My deepest condolences to the Pitt family. Mona was a wonderful Aunt she was always supportive and understanding, I don't think I can remember her not being happy, she lit up a room. I will very much miss her laugh and her singing and her stories.

I remember Mona's warmth and generosity when she allowed my daughter and me to join the Pitt family get-together after I had sold my house in Toronto. That wonderful smile, her kindness, and laughter will stay with me always.

So sorry to hear of Great Aunt Mona's passing. She really was simply "great" and her smile was the brightest. We will always treasure the "joyful noise" of Mona, Fred and the Pitt family, the family get to-gethers and particularly, the Southampton reunions. We will always remember the very entertaining and often hilarious TNT performances too. I truly believe that there is a lot more singing and "joyful noise" in Heaven !! Love and prayers, Maureen, Mike Beauregard, Sarah, Charles and Theodore Phillion, Ryan, Claire and Andree Beauregard and Katie Beauregard and Dylan Ebelt.

Dear Family Pitt: I was so sorry to read the news of your mother’s passing. Her legacy lives on in so many who were blessed to have her teach them or direct them. There is a great void left without both your parents. Peace.

We were so fortunate to have known Mona and Fred. They were charming, talented and clever . . . and they passed those qualities along to their wonderful children. It's always sad when someone so precious leaves us, but it is comforting to consider and appreciate the gifts they have left behind. All our love, Eric and Geofrey.

Thinking of you all with so much love and heartfelt condolences. Your Mom (& Dad) always made us feel like we were part of the family and we will forever be grateful for their warm hospitality (several times) at their home in Southampton. Such great memories spent with the entire Pitt clan. Rest in gentle peace, Mrs. Pitt. It’s comforting to know that Mr. Pitt is there waiting to welcome you home. God bless you both.
With our love and heartfelt condolences,
