With shattered hearts we must share that Barry passed away suddenly at Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg  on Sunday November 21, 2021. Barry was the beloved husband and soulmate of Kathy Holton. The most adoring and loving father of Ryan, Lisa, Todd, Eden and Jay. An incredibly proud and devoted poppy of Isabel, Mackenna, Harper, Darce and Olson. Dear brother of Kathryn and the late Don Mason. Cherished brother-in-law of Janis and Jon Matthews, Blake and Eileen Holton. The very best uncle of Cyndi Mason, Grace Folka, Paul, Sharon and Ian Matthews, Peter Holton and Allie Peters, Simon Holton and Letitia Calver. Greatly missed by his cousins of the Jibb and Leach families. There was no stranger to Barry, everyone was a friend he just hadn’t met yet. 

Friends will be received at Allison Funeral Home, 103 Mill Street North, Port Hope on Tuesday November 30 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, 33 Pine Street North, Port Hope, Wednesday December 1 at 11 a.m. Interment, Port Hope Union Cemetery. Proof of full vaccination is required for all those attending the visitation or service you may pre-register for COVID contact tracing by calling the funeral home between 8 am and 4 pm at 905-885-5611.
